Yes I did it! I am now the very happy owner of a long arm quilting machine, and here is the first real quilt I worked on. It's a whole new skill, and it's going to take some time before I feel confident, but it is amazing and fun to do lots of ruler work while I learn. I will be teaching this Candy Blossoms quilt in the fall session at The Quilt Tree along with a class in Beginning Machine Quilting.
This is a bench that I made for The Quilt Tree using some leftover blocks from a very gorgeous quilt that you can see hanging there.
